Before joining BCA, Shu Nan launched her legal career as a commercial and civil litigation attorney at a boutique law firm in Montreal. She has contributed to numerous cases, including appeals, demonstrating a strong commitment to advocating for clients’ interests and resolving disputes efficiently.

Shu Nan was called to the bar in 2021 and holds a law degree from the University of Montreal, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from McGill University.

During her studies, Shu Nan volunteered and interned at the Mile-End Legal Clinic, where she provided legal assistance to participants while considering their social contexts.

Additionally, she has gained valuable experience in the public sector interning for the Société de l’Assurance Automobile du Québec ( Quebec Motor Vehicle Board) and working for the Tribunal Administratif du Québec.

Shu Nan is a member of the Barreau du Québec and is fluent in both English and French. She also speaks Mandarin.
